Britt Braudo is a 2009 graduate of Emerson College in Boston with a B.S. in Print and Multimedia Journalism with a minor in photography.
She is currently a cops and courts reporter at The Daily Item in Lynn, Mass., and also freelances throughout the Boston area on sporting events. She most recently completed sports reporting and production internships at The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer and Boston.com, the website of The Boston Globe.
Britt was a 2008 Association for Women in Sports Media scholarship intern at The Detroit News, her hometown newspaper, and is a former sports editor of Emerson's Berkeley Beacon.
She spent four months living on Paros Island in the Greek Cyclades and traveled throughout Europe studying photography, film and art in the spring of 2008.
During her three and a half years living in Massachusetts, Britt has worked at multiple web and print publications, as well as at local radio station WERS 88.9 FM. In her free time, Britt enjoys darkroom photography, following baseball and snowboarding in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
